About event / Everything you need to know

The fourth AR/VR Hackathon is live!

It’s an event for specialists from various fields interested in experimenting and executing their ideas using VR and AR technologies.

If you are a developer, 3D artist, designer, visionary, engineer or  creator and feel that you would be ready to push forward and develop your ideas or join another team,

we kindly invite you to participate.

If you already have a team and an idea, you can apply right now;

if you do not have a team, we will help you to form one

The goal of the event is to gather people with different backgrounds and experiences to work together in teams and create disruptive and inspiring products/solutions for use in every field you can imagine for now.

Do I have to have experience in AR/VR?

Participants do not have to be experienced in AR/VR. During the three days and nights you will  learn and work on idea execution/problem solving.

During event participants will be able to get hands on and work with technologies, which usually are not very easily accessible – Magic Leap, Microsoft Hololens, Meta2, Daqri Smart Glasses, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear, Xbox Kinect for Windows, Intel RealSense and others.

There will be mentors from many different areas of business who are currently  working with augmented and virtual reality on daily basis. For example, Organizations like Overly, Anatomy Next, Accenture and others along with a professor from Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.

The main prize provided by Overly – 500 to the best team.
